Sinead is a Partner at Simpson Millar Solicitors, specializing in dealing with claims on behalf of military personnel who have been injured during their service in the Armed Forces.
Sinead grew up in Wythenshawe and continues to have strong links with the area.
She left school at age 16 but returned to study some years later. She then graduated and pursued a career in law. Since qualifying as a solicitor, Sinead she has acted for people who have been seriously injured at work, and more recently, for military personnel. She continues in this area of law as a Partner with Simpson Millar Solicitors.
When able to, Sinead has been involved in various community initiatives in Wythenshawe over the years. She is therefore delighted to become a Committee Board Member of BW3 and to serve the community in Wythenshawe. She is looking forward to drawing on her knowledge of the area and her professional expertise to fully serve this community through the BW3 initiatives.

My role is to bridge the gap between business and the local Wythenshawe community. By building and forging good relationships between schools, local partners and organisations and connecting them with volunteering opportunities provided by the BW3 network of businesses we are making a tangible difference to Wythenshawe communities. I have worked with BW3 since 2015 and grown the membership from 30 to over 250 and embedded the charity as a key Wythenshawe stakeholder.

Hi, I am Paul Seymour , Executive Director at Wythenshawe Community Housing Group – which provides 14,000 homes to rent and own across Wythenshawe. We are also a major local business and local employer and provide a wide range of services that support our tenants and the community. I feel passionately about helping the amazing talented young people in Wythenshawe to reach their potential and to have the opportunities to learn well, live well and prosper. I am a new member of the BW3 committee and want to ensure I and WCHG plays its part in the many different ways businesses across Wythenshawe can support, invest and encourage our future generations of Wythenshawe.
Nina Wyers is a family owner and the Marketing and Brand Director of The Floorbrite Group, a leading soft service provider in the UK FM sector.
Based in Manchester, with regional offices and warehouses in Yorkshire and The Midlands, Floorbrite was founded by Nina’s late father Martin Wyers over 50 years ago. Floorbrite’s core services include commercial cleaning, industrial and specialist cleaning and window cleaning. However, since Martin passed away in 2010, Nina and her brothers Alex and Nik Wyers, have diversified into new markets and expanded Floorbrite’s portfolio of services to provide a full suite of facility services.

My name is Nathan Jack and I am the Business Growth Manager for Manchester Athena.
Athena is a partnership of 16 Greater Manchester housing providers that looks to remove barriers to employment for customers.
Originally from Dudley, I became aware of BW3 when working for Wythenshawe Community Housing Group, who I represented on the BW3 Committee and subsequently, became a mentor.
I have been involved in adult education and supporting people into work for over 20 years and really enjoy seeing people develop as they gain new skills.
I am a great believer in the talent of young people in Wythenshawe. I am excited to work with the BW3 committee as well as the wider BW3 members to create opportunities for young people and help them realise their talent.
Angela Lofters
Barnardos
I been working for Barnardos in Wythenshawe for 12 months, managing an employability programme called The Jobs Project. I enjoy supporting and empowering young people to have a positive future and develop their employment and life skills. Aged 16, I started an apprenticeship and then worked my way through different and interesting roles, eventually progressing into management. My knowledge has grown over the years, and I've learned so much that I like to share it with others.
I have a diverse set of skills, with experience in teaching and learning, employment and skills, work-based learning, youth work, mentoring and careers. I am care-experience and left school aged 14 and know how it feels to have barriers to overcome when facing adversity. I would like to use my lived experience to make positive change in the local community. I am proud of what I have achieved throughout my working life, I've had some fantastic experiences and supported many young people into work.
In my spare time I enjoy gardening on my allotment, taking my little rescue dog for walks along the canal and going to music events in the UK and Europe. I'm excited to join BW3 and look forward to working with the rest of the Committee.

I'm the Director of Sales and Marketing at Holiday Inn and ibis budget Manchester Airport, having worked for over eight years within the dynamic environment of Manchester Airport hotels, during this time I have been an active member of BW3. As a working parent, outside of my professional life, I enjoy bringing up two young sons, which help me maintain a well-rounded and balanced lifestyle. Having been an active member of our local community working at Manchester Airport, I've witnessed firsthand the invaluable impact that BW3 can have on improving the lives of those in our local area.
As a new committee member, I'm enthusiastic about collaborating with fellow committee members and leveraging our collective expertise to drive positive change and I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in our community.

Rob was born, raised and went to school in Wythenshawe. He is Manchester City Council's City Centre Neighbourhood Management Coordinator, leading intensive management and co-ordination of service delivery across the city centre linked to a constantly evolving development and growth agenda. Rob has been an active BW3 committee member since 2007 and leads the relationship with education providers, project development and mentoring programmes for the charity. He is a passionate ambassador for Wythenshawe and the areas communities.

As well as working directly with neighbouring communities, Manchester Airport are committed to building upon the strong and lasting relationships we have with our local authorities, and key stakeholders. Our work with BW3 is a vital part of that.
MAG airports are known to be good neighbours and we work hard to engage with residents near our airports on a whole range of issues, including employment, public transport, noise management and air quality.
There is always more to do and our teams pride themselves on the links they build, not just with local residents. Our business networking is key and being involved in BW3 is a great opportunity.
Their programmes allow us to showcase opportunities at our airports to a wider range of local people. The education activities co-ordinated by BW3 provide another opportunity inspire the next generation, and support our own education programmes.

Over the past 5 years I've worked at Manchester City Council. I became aware of BW3 when working as part of the Neighbourhood Team in the Wythenshawe area. Once I heard about the brilliant initiatives offered by BW3, supporting young people and Wythenshawe residents, I was keen to support the Charity by joining the committee as Secretary and sitting on the Business Development sub-group.
Currently, I provide strategic policy support to the Neighbourhoods Service at the council, working on projects with frontline services, including supporting community cohesion, helping residents get digital access and making sure Manchester is a resilient city as part of our civil contingency plans to respond to emergencies. I'm passionate about developing Manchester's communities into thriving places and working with BW3 is an excellent opportunity to have a positive and meaningful impact on young people's lives.

I have been involved with BW3 for over 10 years now and act as a trustee of the charity and also the treasurer. I own Nabarro Poole Ltd. Accountants based in Northenden where my team and I provide compliance work and advisory work to SME businesses across Greater Manchester and beyond.
My favourite initiative that BW3 runs is the Business Gateway Events, where I act as host and get the opportunity to meet many other organisations all with a shared interest in making the place that they work and live as great as it can be.

My “day job” is as communications director for Manchester Airports Group, overseeing all external communications for Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands Airports. Manchester Airport was a founding member of BW3 and is committed to ensuring the communities surrounding it thrive, which is why I love playing such an active role in BW3. Prior to MAG, I was a journalist for 11 years, firstly in my native north east and then at the MEN, where I was an associate editor.
