BW3 is celebrating after being named one of the top three finalists in the Business and Communities Working Together category at this year’s Best of Manchester Awards.
The awards ceremony took place at The Midland Hotel, bringing together individuals, businesses and organisations from across Manchester to recognise and celebrate those making a positive difference in their communities.
Having been selected from an incredible 900 nominations, reaching the final three was a fantastic achievement. Although BW3 didn’t take home the top award, being recognised alongside so many inspiring organisations was a proud moment for everyone involved.
It was also a wonderful opportunity to meet others doing great work across Manchester. A particular highlight was sharing a table with fellow finalists Brink Art Studio, whose team were an absolute pleasure to meet.
Recognition for the BW3 community
For BW3, this recognition goes far beyond the organisation itself. It shines a spotlight on the hundreds of local businesses and individuals who give thousands of hours of their time to support young people across Wythenshawe.
Through volunteering, mentoring, sharing expertise, providing opportunities and supporting our projects, BW3 members help raise aspirations, open doors and create pathways into education, employment and enterprise.
Every hour volunteered, every connection made and every opportunity created contributes to making a genuine difference to the lives of young people in our community.
This recognition belongs to all of you.

Making a difference together
BW3 was established to bring businesses and the community together, creating opportunities for young people and helping Wythenshawe thrive. Being recognised at the Best of Manchester Awards is a wonderful endorsement of what can be achieved when businesses come together with a shared purpose.
We may not have brought home the trophy, but we came away feeling incredibly proud of our members, our volunteers and everything we achieve together.
