Finding a good work experience placement can be a challenge — but the right opportunity can be life-changing. It can spark an interest in a new career, build confidence, and help a young person see what’s possible.
That’s why BW3 is passionate about giving students in Wythenshawe the best possible access to real-world experiences in local businesses. Each year, BW3 members have the chance to offer work experience placements and work inspiration visits for students across our partner schools — helping to raise aspirations and build brighter futures.
How You Can Get Involved
Work experience can take many forms — it doesn’t have to mean hosting a student in your office for a week.
Businesses can offer:

A virtual “day in the life of” experience

A short project with a presentation by the student or group

A traditional in-person placement

A combined virtual and physical experience
BW3 can support you in creating a format that works for your business and the schools involved. Smaller businesses are especially encouraged to take part — we can help you design something simple and effective.
